This introduction to the Panic Attacks Course will introduce you to the main concepts that will be covered over the three treatment sessions. This gentle overview will give a useful explanation of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and how this approach is used throughout the course to help guide you in developing your own solutions to your current difficulties. This is followed by a course of sessions all aimed at helping you to manage panic attacks, including your thoughts, behaviour and wellbeing. You will learn about the symptoms of panic attacks and we’ll explore techniques that can help you to overcome those feelings.

We understand that whilst taking part in these sessions you may want to ask questions to aid your understanding of the course. If you have any questions please feel free to email us at epunft.questions.therapyforyou@nhs.net ensuring that the title of your chosen course is in the subject box and that you also include your name and date of birth within the email. In light of government guidance changing on 19th July relating to the COVID 19 pandemic, the NHS has been advised that it will still need to operate in a manner which adheres to the hands, face, space message.

Therefore we are still unable to offer face to face appointments at this time but will continue to offer sessions via video conferencing, telephony and online text type – click here to find out more.
